Little Dog Orchard, Hudson Valley NY, needs irrigation and that means we need your help! Our goal is to raise $5,000 to offset the costs of installing a drip irrigation system, so we need to lease at least 100 trees by the 4th of July.

This year, things are a bit different but essentially the same: You give us $50 and we assign you a tree. Once the apples are ripe, you can come pick every last one on yourtree. (But we don’t require it. Some of you have very small apartments!). If we reach our goal of 100 new leases by July 4th, everyone who leased a tree this year will be eligible to win one of 10 Little Dog t-shirts (to be picked at random). If we REALLY get the word out and lease 200 trees, we’ll give away 20 shirts, and one lucky person will win a $50 gift certificate for Gunk Haus, the wonderful new restaurant just up the hill from Little Dog.

You’ll have a great day picking apples in the country followed by lunch or dinner enjoying a spectacular view and a fabulous local, sustainable meal, courtesy of Little Dog Orchard and your own generosity!
