sustainable food and bioenergy systems - MSU

Posted: June 3 2010

Thanks to Jacob Cowgill of Prairie Heritage Farm for the heads up on this program at Montana State University.

Here's what Jacob has to say about it:
I listened to your interview with Olivia at Farm 255 in Georgia and she was talking about land grant colleges being far behind on sustainable ag. Until recently Montana State University had been in the same boat. But, they've just launched a new interdisciplinary program that has taken off: Sustainable Food and Bioenergy Systems http://sfbs.montana.edu/). It's only in its second year and it's hugely popular. It's a real model for the future at land grant schools.
