Soil microorganisms are highly exposed to glyphosate-based herbicides like Roundup, which is widely used worldwide. This article evaluates the toxicity of a commercial formulation of Roundup on the fungus Aspergillus nidulans. The lethal dose it took to kill Aspergillus nidulans was 1/100th TIMES LOWER than that used in agriculture.
