The New Entry Sustainable Farming Project, a beginning farmer training program, is seeking a full-time, year-round Technical Assistance and Incubator Farm Coordinator, to begin in early to mid-March.  The position is based in Lowell, MA.  Competitive salary and benefits.  Participants from diverse backgrounds are strongly encourage to apply.  Cross-cultural experience required.

Attached is the job description.  The main duties of this position are to:

  • provide training and technical assistance services in all aspects of farm enterprise development (production, marketing, financial management) to beginning farmers
  • develop curriculum and teach our Farm Business Planning Courses, advanced farm workshops, and field-based practical skills trainings, and
  • manage our 3 incubator training farms (over 20+ acres) with field cultivation, equipment management and maintenance, and extension outreach to farmers.
  • We also provide continuing technical assistance to graduates and alumni of our training programs.
