Dear Greenhorns,
You might also want to list the International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movements (IFOAM) - not a toothpaste, but the world wide organization that pushes for organic before the UN and lately promotes smallholder interests around the world and participatory guarantee systems.
Attached is the IFOAM principles of organic ag. and a summary of a huge research process that IFOAM participated in.
