About the CSC Youth House Gardens:
CSC Youth House Gardens is a program of Community Services Consortium, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing youth workforce training, education, and the skills to foster community engagement.   At this site, youth gardeners improve work skills, gain a greater understanding of gardening and local food systems and contribute to the community in a positive way.
A youth crew and Youth House staff plan and maintain the Youth House Garden year round.  The garden is a living learning environment, a community demonstration site and a small business.  It features raised beds, cold frames, a greenhouse, composting, and a green wall.  The youth gardeners grow a variety of vegetables, herbs and flowers.  We utilize organic growing techniques, companion planting, ecological landscaping and elements of permaculture design.   Our produce and starts are sold at the Corvallis Farmers’ Markets.
