"Since the success of the first Washington State Young Farmer’s Mixer last October (thanks Greenhorns!) we’ve been brainstorming, dreaming, potlucking, e-mailing and networking;  now we’re eager to introduce ourselves to the world. The Washington Young Farmer’s Coalition aims to support Washington’s beginning farmers by offering educational and social events, easing access to critical resources, and a fostering a community of allies.
Check out our website and join our listserv to hear about upcoming events. Our monthly meetings always have a call in option if you’re not in the Seattle area.
Our next event is a trip to the Small Farmer’s Journal’s Draft Horse Auction, April 13^th-16^th in Oregon, where we’ll have a Young Farmer’s gathering on Thursday April 14^th. We’ll even help you find a ride or some passengers for the trip down. Auction details and carpool info here.
