July Internship/Immersion & Live-on Farm Positions
ALOHA!   With 17 new acres to expand into we are looking for great teammates.  Waihuena Farm currently operates a small 20 share per week organically grown (non-certified) Community Supported Agriculture Program, hosts permaculture & wellness related events and has long-term as well as vacation rental housing onsite. We are located across the street from Pipeline and neighboring Pupukea Paumalu nature reserve on beautiful North Shore Oahu.
This July we are hosting a camp-on-farm WWOOF style volunteer program for those simply looking for a week in nature, or those interested in joining our team.  Weeks will start Sunday 3pm, July 7, 14 & 21. Stay for one or three! Work will start at 8am daily and will be along side our current team members and wrap up daily w/ team lunch.  $20 application fee, Application available (soon) at www. meleanasfarm.com.
We are looking to fill one position to help with our current offerings and fill at least one new position to help with clearing (experience with chickens and goats to help as well as with machines would be awesome) and orchard planting. Preference given to those with a PDC.
