these days, we can't get enough of all of these oh so fabulous mapping interfaces. now the USDA has stepped up to the plate and created the Food Environmental Atlas, which identifies crucial food environment factors—such as store/restaurant proximity, food prices, food and nutrition assistance programs, and community characteristics—and shows how they interact to influence food choices and diet quality.
