City Slicker Farms, a non-profit urban farming program in West Oakland, California is seeking qualified applicants for our Community Market Farm Coordinator position. The Coordinator will be running the opening and operations of a new Community Market Farm with the City of Oakland Parks and Recreation. This will include community outreach, building coordination, farming, volunteer/staff management, farm-stand sales, event planning, technical assistance for community members, administrative work, and record-keeping. The project will consist of two phases, a building phase (phase 1) and an ongoing operations phase (phase 2). This is a great position for motivated people who are interested in all aspects of community food security and food justice.
