Just released! A new documentary, about the hearts and hard work of queer farmers in the U.S. Out Here.
A note from the filmmaker:
It's been almost exactly 4 years since I put out the call looking for participants in the Queer Farmer Film Project. After touring the country several times around, and with the generosity and support of many people along the way, (especially Zibby Jahns and Mev Luna with production assistance and editing) I am overjoyed to announce that the movie, officially titled "Out Here" is DONE! In happy news, the film will make it's world debut at the Frameline San Francisco International LGBT Film Festival on June 29th. Frameline is the longest running queer film festival in the world, so this is pretty exciting! If you are in the San Francisco area, please come and see it. For ticketing and festival info see: http://ticketing.frameline.org/festival/film/reserve.aspx?id=4220&FID=50.

"Out Here" has a new website that will have more details about future screenings and distribution as things come along. If you'd like to host a screening in your area, please get in touch. Check out the new site at www.outheremovie.com. Thanks to Sara Taylor for all the website help.
Proudly, this film project was mostly funded by YOU and donations from the various community supported events/potlucks that we held a few years back. Thank you to all who organized, donated, and showed up.
