New England Farmers Union Annual Meeting: New England Farmers are Different
Please join members of the New England Farmers Union as we reflect on the past year of our work and make plans for our future. Our annual meeting will be held on December 15th at Doyle Conservation Center in Leominster, MA, from 5-9 p.m. NEFU members will have an opportunity to review and ratify our new policy book, which will shape our work in coming years. We’ll hear from National Farmers Union President Roger Johnson, MA State Representative Steve Kulik, Paul Lacinski and Amy Klippenstein from Sidehill Farm, and others, about the importance of building NEFU to ensure that New England’s agricultural community is heard when agriculture policy decisions are made in Washington. Business meeting and policy discussion is from 5-6, followed by a light dinner. Speakers’ presentations will be from 7-9 p.m.
For more information see www.newenglandfarmersunion.org. Please RSVP to [email protected] or 413-625-3051 by December 10.
Individuals wishing to sign up for a NEFU membership at the event can do so at a discounted rate of $30.
The evening’s events are sponsored by Farm Credit East, ACA and the National Farmers Union.
