How do you choose the land or the sea? Longtime deep sea fisherman turned goat farmer, Gabriel Flaherty of Aran Islands Goats Cheese​, doesn't have to, the sea surrounds him and runs through his veins.The Perennial Plate is an award winning online weekly documentary series dedicated to socially responsible and adventurous eating. It sees Chef and Activist, Daniel Klein and Filmmaker Mirra Fine traveling the world exploring the wonders, complexities and stories behind the ever more connected global food system. The series is currently in it's 4th season which takes places across the entire world. The episode above was filmed on the Aran Islands just off the Irish coast.
Season One was filmed in Minnesota, Season Two was filmed across the rest of America, taking the viewer on a journey to appreciate and understand where good food comes from and how to enjoy it. In the latter two seasons Klein and Fine travel to China, Japan, India, Sri Lanka, Spain, Morocco, Italy, Turkey, Argentina, Mexico, South Africa and Ethiopia and the rest of the world.
