Hosted by the Food Literacy Project, join this FREE online event Wednesday October 7th, at 4pm ET // 7pm PT.

Learn about urban agriculture in the Boston area and how to cultivate the under-utilized space of city rooftops to grow nutritious food in this free zoom talk and tour!

"Higher Ground Farm works with institutions to design on-site farms and gardens that provide fresh, organic food as well as educational, team building, and community benefit opportunities. They offer consulting services and are made up of a team of experts in sustainability, institutional food service and operations, farm and garden education, bee keeping and agriculture.

"Farming Operations Director, Lindsay Allen, is a farmer and educator from Boston. She has been farming for the past 8 years and has managed farms in rural and suburban locations around and outside the United States. She leads the farming and education operations of the 7,000 square foot Rooftop Farm at Boston Medical Center. Lindsay is a certified Permaculture Designer and Educator and teaches courses a few times a year on the subject. She is currently pursuing her Masters in Agroforestry.
