Hawthorne Valley Farm  (Ghent, NY) is looking for a field vegetable/CSA manager to join its team of farmers. This is a full time position with benefits and housing.
Main responsibilities are running all aspects of our field vegetable operation, which include growing for our 300 member CSA and multiple Green markets. The CSA manager joins the livestock team during the winter months to support the seasonal chores. Position available as of 1/1/13. (date is flexible)
Qualifications: working knowledge of Biodynamics, experience (3 to 5 years) with managing all aspects of a medium size CSA, interest and ability to being a farmer mentor for interns and apprentices, strong communication skills, team player. Please send application to: [email protected]
