EVENT LINK: FERMENT FOR FOOD JUSTICE

(OCT 10-11, 17-18, workshops streaming via Zoom and Instagram Live from 10am-8pm EST)

Zoom link TBA; check out their Instagram, @communitycultures, for full schedules and the upcoming Zoom link in their bio.

Organizer Jess Canose writes:

"We've got some amazing topics, interviews, and demos with sessions ranging from topics on transfermentation (trans identity and queer community in ferment spaces), to koji and ancestral wisdom, afro futuristic conscious cuisine, and the music of live microbes. There's over 60 presenters slated (including folks like Sandor Katz), 10 countries represented, and a handful of sessions in Spanish (and hopefully French, as well)!"

100% of proceeds go to the National Black Food & Justice Alliance, a coalition of Black-led organizations "working towards cultivating and advancing Black leadership, building Black self-determination, Black institution building and organizing for food sovereignty, land and justice."
