After lengthy deliberations, Heather and I have decided to offer THE WARREN FARM for sale. We have had a great time for the past 20+ years and are getting to the point where we believe it is time for a change. We believe change will be good for both ourselves and the farm. I grew up on the farm and it has been a major part of my life for the past 60 years. Heather has been involved in the farm since 1990. She often says “ I like the view from every window”. We have contracted with Lisa Lentz of the Bean Group to handle the sale. We are asking $975,000.
My parents, with the blessing of myself and my siblings, protected the farm in 1989 thru the LCIP. The farm is protected by a conservation easement and cannot be sub-divided or developed. A new owner can pursue agriculture, animal husbandry, forestry, or horticulture if they wish. The farm has 244 acres. We understand that the sale process may be lengthy, and we want to let you know that we will continue doing our regular farming until which time a buyer comes forth. Thus you probably will see no obvious changes. The highlight of my (our) time here has been our customers. It continues to warm our hearts when people enjoy the farm and all its’ bounty. We have been so very blessed to live here and we hope you continue to support the farm as we go thru this process.
