Blue Hill cooks, baristas, servers and bartenders took to the field on one of the few steamy days of summer, gathering for Stone Barns Center’s inaugural tri-hop harvest. Taste the fruits (or flowers) of their efforts in two limited edition beers: Kelso of Brooklyn’s “The Hop Project” Pilsner and Captain Lawrence’s “Stone Barns 3” Pale Ale, made with Cascade, Nugget and Chinook hops. Both beers are collaborations between the brewers, Stone Barns farmers (led by Four Season Grower Jack Algiere), and Blue Hill at Stone Barns’ beer sommelier, Michael Greenberg.
