Training
The Scottish Crofting Federation offers a number of training opportunities, supported with funding from the Scottish Government's Skills Development Scheme and Highlands and Islands Enterprise. Training is available for aspiring, new and existing crofters and open to anyone with an interest in learning more about rural skills and crofting. The training courses are aimed at people interested in developing knowledge and skills in crofting, both for new entrants and to support existing crofters in best practice and improving performance.
Our Crofting Skills Training Programme is now underway and will run between 2013 and 2015 throughout the Crofting Counties offering our much acclaimed Entry Level Induction to Crofting courses as well as a wide range of Practical Skills courses, with Intermediate and Certified courses planned to commence in 2014.
