Join the Accokeek Foundation on the banks of the beautiful Potomac River for a community potluck, speakers, a screening of the film “The Greenhorns,” and a campout!
You’ll want to bring lawn chairs, camping gear, flashlights (grounds are totally dark at night), a potluck dish to share, and hiking boots to check out the site and local trails in the morning. Organizations working on similar issues are welcome to bring their promotional materials—a resource table will be set up.
Schedule:
4:00 pm - Arrival/Networking, Camp Set Up
4:45 – 6:00 pm – Speakers

6:00 – 7:00 pm Potluck Dinner

7:00 PM Greenhorns Address – Patrick Kiley, followed by the Greenhorns Movie Screening
9:00 pm – Sunday AM – Community Campout – Folks can pack up and leave in the morning
