Turtle Tree Seed ( www.turtletreeseed.org/aboutus.html) is looking for a garden helper and seed cleaner. We are looking for someone with plant/garden experience, who is good with fix-it tasks, comfortable around people, plants and machines, and willing to learn seed cleaning, both hand cleaning and working with seed cleaning machines.
This person will be asked to work with a Camphill crew, which means assisting and sometimes supervising a team of up to 10 people, including adults with developmental disabilities and young people without developmental disabilities but with limited gardening experience.
Applicants should either be familiar with Camphill Village (www .camphillvillage.org), or should be able to come for least a week-long trial visit. This is a full-time, salaried position with a full benefit package. We are accepting applications now to begin work in July/August.
