Terry’s Berries is seeking an intern/apprentice for this growing season.  Terry’s Berries is a 20-acre diversified organic CSA farm in Tacoma, WA.  We grow vegetable row crops, apples, berries, and raise a flock of 400+ chickens for egg production.  We provide organic produce and eggs for our 400-member year around CSA, a farm store and local farmers markets.

We are seeking applicants interested in becoming farmers and who are experienced in or willing to become experienced in rewarding physical labor.

-Live on the farm in provided housing which is a 3bdrm 2bath doublewide manufactured home.

-Work 6 days a week.

-Be willing to do all types of farm tasks, weeding, washing eggs, feeding animals, transplanting, etc. etc.

-Willing to learn on the job.

-Be available from now until November.

-Compensation is $9.04 per hour.

-Lunches are communal in the farmer’s home, breakfasts and dinners are independent.
