Consider Bardwell Farm seeks a qualified and enthusiastic employee to coordinate it's New York City based farmer's markets, sales, and marketing. Qualified candidates should have an interest and knowledge of cheese, sales, and local food production. The job requires an availability to work weekends, ability to work out of doors, and to lift and move heavy objects. A valid driver's license is required.
Job Responsibilities include:
Sell cheese and farm products at area farmer's market locations
Oversee local market staff and market logistics
Receive inventory and manage warehouse
Deliveries within the local area
Promotions at area events, stores, and restaurants
Compensation is salary plus commission based. The farm will provide a vehicle for transportation.
