here is the story of a chemist, who wanted to become a farmer.
so he moved up into the mountains, in the engadin in the south of switzerland.
to grow herbs.
and discovered that he wasn't so much interested in the botanical parts of that profession-- was more inclined to work in the laboratory to create products.
So he started a natural cosmetics company
To add value to the traditional herbal products of the region, to make a little factory that produces them, and to establish an alpine brand.
This is a story for the greenhorns who don't want to be farmers, but who'd like to start ag-based businesses.
He is very successful at this enterprise, and there isn't much of an analog " artisanal facecreams" here in the us
