An evening of film, local fare from Dangerously Delicious Pies (created especially for this event), wine, and beer! NFI will present the spirited and whimsical documentary, Greenhorns, which explores the lives of America’s young farming community – its spirit, practices, and needs. Visit http://www.thegreenhorns.net/.
Doors open and Dangerously Delicious Pies will begin serving at 6:30 pm with pies made from produce grown at Neighborhood Farm Initiative’s local urban farm. Film screening will start promptly at 7:30 pm at St. Stephen’s Church, which is located in Columbia Heights at 1525 Newton Street NW.
Tickets: $20, with small surcharge for online sales. Presale tickets available online at http://foodandfilm.eventbrite.com/. Cash and checks accepted at the door, pending seat availability.
