holistic management workshop
Posted: January 14 2012
Join us for a 3-day, hands-on workshop on Holistic goal setting, decision-making, and land use planning featuring Holistic Management Certified Educator, Kirk Gadzia. We will spend time in the field everyday, and you will leave with a holistic goal, the knowledge you need to put that plan in action, and land use solutions specific to your operation. There will be plenty of time for networking and sharing with other attendees, as well as discussions of managing through drought and holistic planned grazing.
Ideal for experienced practitioners, as well as those new to Holistic Management, the workshop will take place at the beautiful Paicines Ranch, a working ranch since the 1800’s. Paicines Ranch is located in San Benito County, just 10 miles south of Hollister, California.
Day 1: Creating your holistic goal – holistic management principles
Day 2: Putting your plan in action – the decision-making framework
Day 3: Land use planning – solutions for your operation
When: Tuesday, March 27 - March 29, 2012, 9-5 each day
Public Field Day March 30, 10am-4pm

Evening sessions: These optional sessions will give attendees a chance to make a short presentation on lessons learned or problems they are currently facing, to share information and get help with specific issues from other attendees.
