Farmers and Rural Broadband Internet Access
The blog site Geekinthecountry.com is seeking small, organic, sustainable, or biodynamic farmers to interview for a book and possible podcast series.
The subject centers on how broadband internet access, or the lack of it, affects the way farmers learn new techniques, connect with other like- minded people, find resources and information, engage with the political process, and reach their customers.
Toni Rush, who blogs on the site, will be traveling throughout the west in the month of June and would like to find those interested in contributing their stories. If you are a farmer, rancher, or rural small business, in Washington, Idaho, Montana, Utah, or Oregon, your insights and experiences could prove invaluable. Please contact her through the geekinthecountry.com site, where there are more details about the project. Alternately, she can be reached at [email protected] or @ruraltechgeek on Twitter.
