the felix gillet institute

Posted: April 13 2012

felix gillet, of nevada city, imported breda and introduced most of the plants that comprise the foundation of aclifornia and pacific northwest perrenial agriuculture. His breeding orchard fell into abandonment and is now being preserved and recussitated. The surviving trees have managed to produce after many years of neglect. Many are rare varieties that haven't seen commercial success, but which are highly appropriate for resiliant perrenial agriculture

FGI is creating a database of hundreds of these plants. [email protected]
