soup & sing

Posted: November 30 2012

Warm up your voice, fingers, soul, and spirit before the Whallonsburg Grange Xmas Show. Share songs and soup, no musical experience needed.  Bring favorite songs to share and instruments if you have them. Soup and bread supper provided (donations welcome).
The Whallonsburg Grange Hall is located at the corner of Route 22 and Whallons Bay Road in Whallonsburg, New York. Built in 1915, the Grange Hall has been a center for the community in the Champlain Valley for many years.
Max Godfrey, the Fiddlin' Farmer, will teach some traditional work songs and lead the singing. Max, fiddler, guitarist, vocalist and a fine farmer, is on tour sponsored by the Greenhorns. Here's a link to one of Max's YouTube videos.
