Posted: January 17 2012

Gaia Rising Farm has completed its first season as a member supported farm and is seeking a farm manager who will be responsible for planting, cultivating and harvesting and other day to day farm operations. This person will work closely with the project director in setting up planting plans and determining needs for extra labor and helping chart the future of the farm. The right person for the job will have experience in and be committed to organic methods and permaculture and have an understanding of the Transition Towns movement. Enthusiasm is important. This is a unique opportunity to get in on the beginnings of a project that is changing our food system from the bottom up. Compensation will be negotiated depending on experience.
