Common Ground Farm and The Randolph School are celebrating their partnership with this event and opening it to the community for free! Information about both organizations will be available.
Besides the sweet maple treats and outdoor fun, the maple sugaring project brings us closer to the the forest, reminding us of both it's value as a provider and the importance of our role as stewards, and moves us into a higher consciousness of sustainable land use and permaculture design, integrating our farming and our educating with the unique, beautiful nature that we inhabit here in the mid-Hudson Valley.
The event takes place at The Randolph School at 2467 Route 9D, one mile south of the village of Wappingers Falls and 8 miles north of the city of Beacon, from 1:00 'til 7:00 PM, with the dinner/dance for all ages beginning at 5:00.
