reverend billy in california

Posted: July 8 2009

greenhorns choice for mayor of NYC, Reverend Billy, is making his way to California and having a dinner party in Berkeley!  He was a smashing hit at our Goat Spit - check him out if you're in the area...
We're celebrating the rise of the fabulous 500 neighborhoods, building a campaign to make the city more livable, affordable and sustainable.

Yesterday, our volunteers started collecting 20,000 signatures from registered NYC voters so we can appear on the ballot in November.
Mayor Mike Bloomberg is spending 100 million dollars to win a third term. He has overthrown the term limit laws NYC voters twice upheld!
We must stop the Billionaire King!
A signature collected is a soul saved from the SHOPOCALYPSE! Do I hear a change-alujah?
Can you help us wage a successful signature collection drive by donating to our fundraising benefits?

On Tuesday 7/21, please join us at DNA Lounge located at 375 Eleventh Street, San Francisco. Doors open at 7:00pm. Sliding scale admission. Give what you can. Suggested contribution: $10.
Buy your tickets today at http://www.tinyurl.com/revbillyca.

We are also having a dinner party in Berkeley on 7/20 for those of you have a few extra dollars to share. Suggested contribution: $100 or more. If you're interested, contact [email protected].
Even if you can't attend the events, please consider making a donation for our signature collection drive. http://www.tinyurl.com/revbillyca
