Resistance Is Fertile podcast!

Posted: May 6 2011

Check out a new podcast project from Debbie Lehmann and Kelly Nichols, two interns at Riverhill Farm in Nevada City, CA called Resistance Is Fertile
This podcast will be a forum to explore farming as a radical action, looking specifically about how farming can be a means to restructure communities, a way to redefine the relationship between humans and nature, and an act to reclaim power through self-sufficiency. The first episode can be found at http://fertileferment.blogspot.com/.
They are already planning for the second episode, entitled "Beyond CSAs: Alternative Models of Sustainable Food Communities"
They want to hear about your collective farms, ideas for expanding access to non-traditional CSA members, Food Not Bombs style produce distros, and other efforts towards community food sovereignty. If you are interested in being interviewed or having your project otherwise featured on our podcast, email us at [email protected].
