COLLABORATIVE HEALING ARTS CSA SHARES!

massage - acupuncture herbs - allied modalities // accessibility & opportunity for families, farmers & community
WHY A HEALING ARTS CSA SHARE?
We believe that the healing arts we practice can be of great benefit to many people, but so-called complementary therapies are often only available at prices that for many people are still out of reach. We create various formats where we can increase patients’ accessibility to our modalities while being sustainable for ourselves.
We offer our CSA share to our communities for the usual reasons of interdependence and sustainable local economies and ecosystems--and especially on behalf of our farmers, because the hard physical labor required for farming has a significant impact on the body, and what we do can assist farmers in working free from pain, injury and ailments.

BENEFITS OF THE CSA MODEL
Benefits the consumer by making healing arts affordable for their household, and increases their support for their farmer
Benefits the farmer by extrapolating from their existing business model a sustainable way to receive much-needed healing arts without having to lay out cash payment
Benefits the practitioners by providing up-front prepayment  which offers increased economic stability and provides capital for
substantial expenses such as facilities improvements and continuing education.
WHAT DOES THE FARMER HAVE TO DO TO PARTICIPATE?
We the practitioners will perform all administration including processing payments and tracking the sessions you have coming to you (and notifying you whenever you're owed).  To participate, all you need to do is make the printed brochures we provide available to your folks at the pickup site or any other in-person opportunities, and alert us to anything else we could do to publicize it--we could do an email to your lists, come to one of your info sessions, etc.  We will be setting up a Facebook page and postering so people can learn about the HA-CSA and the participating farms. So far, we've contacted Monkshood Nursery and Sparrowbush Farm, and they are both signed on.
