Urban Lifeways Project & Native Movement Artist Collective present Harvest Festival

What : Local Foods, Live Art, Music, Bike Parade, Garden Things!

When: Saturday September 13th from 2 pm - Sundown

Where: New Start Garden. 415 N Mogollon St. (B/W Cherry and Dale, West of Downtown Flagstaff, AZ)
Hi Friends!

Come help us celebrate our third season at the New Start Garden!  There will be local food from the garden and live music throughout the afternoon and evening.   Live art will be created and displayed by local artists.   And for those of you who want to get your hands and feet and face dirty there will be several activities for you too.  Check the list below for specifics...  There will also be a bike parade from the Sustainable Living Fair at Thorpe Park to the New Start Garden at 4 pm!  This is a zero waste event sponsored by the Urban Lifeways Project, Native Movement Artist Collective, Grand Canyon Trust and NAU Diabetes Prevention Program.  We hope to see you there !

  • Youth-led Garden Tours
  • Seed Exchange (ie; bring your seeds if ya wanna swap some)
  • Compost Demonstrations
  • Rainwater Harvesting Demonstrations
