The Small Farms Program and Northeast SARE are pleased to co-sponsor the Second Annual Winter Green-Up Grass-Fed Beef Conference. The conference will be held Friday, January 29, 2010, 10am to 9:00pm and Saturday, January 30, 2010 9:00am to 4:00pm at the Century House in Latham, NY.
Both local and nationally acclaimed speakers will be present to discuss a range of topics; ultra high stock density, marketing grass-fed beef to restaurants and butcher shops, intensive grazing, grass-fed protocols and branded beef products, and transitioning your farm from grain-fed to grass-fed beef.
Cost to attend the conference early registration (before Dec 31, 2009) is $75.00 for days, $55 for day one only and $45.00 for day two only. After December 31, 2009 the registration fee is $85.00 for both days, $65.00 for day one only and $55.00 for day two only. Rooms are being held at The Century House for Friday and Saturday night at the special rate of $99.00 per night, blocks of rooms will be held until January 8, 2010.
