North American Food Sovereignty Youth Training Camp
When: August 10-16, 2011

Where: Saving Seeds Farm, Sedgwick, Maine (USA)
The youth of La Via Campesina North America, along with allies from Mexico, the U.S. and Canada are holding this North American Food Sovereignty Training Camp. This will be the first La Via Campesina Youth Camp to be held in the U.S. and participation of dynamic youth leaders is requested. To participate you must be an active member in a sponsor organization that is working for grassroots food justice, know the history of your organization, be available to study, work and share experiences and be age 18-35.
Organizations need to select youth representatives and return the registration form by July 1, 2011. Your organization needs to pay the plane fare to Boston. Be prepared to camp. All other expenses are covered.
