Dog Mountain Farm & School of the Lost Arts

Posted: October 1 2010

we just love these folks. plus, they are coming to our Washington mixer. here's an update from Cindy, executive director of the school of the lost arts in Carnation, WA.
"The fall season is upon us and we are gearing up for our grand finale. The farm is still a busy place with the arrival of our pigs and planting of our winter vegetables. Don't miss the last public event of the year, Oct. 23rd--our Apple Harvest Celebration! We'll be making apple cider and butter, giving horse-drawn wagon rides, and selling farm fresh produce. In conjunction with these activities, the School is hosting an Old Time Music Jam. And the pièce de résistance, a farm-to-table dinner with Chef Robin Leventhal.
We also have openings for our Fall Produce and Egg CSA to keep those farm-fresh ingredients coming through December! And the big news from the farm--David & Cindy are transitioning to a new role as farm managers for the Skokomish Valley Farms.
Sincerely,
Cindy Krepky
