Blair is a passionate educator and perennial advocate for gardening in San Francisco. At Garden for the Environment Blair combines 8 years of experience as an educator with extensive training in small-scale organic fruit, vegetable and flower production as a manager of GFE’s ½ organic teaching garden, and as a course instructor in the Gardening and Composting Educator Training Program. Blair is a graduate of the Apprenticeship in Ecological Horticulture at The Center for Agroecology and Sustainable Food Systems, at the University of California, Santa Cruz, and the Gardening and Composting Educator Training Program. Blair is also a bicycle advocate and an enthusiastic fruit tree orchardist.
