Certified Naturally Grown offers a grassroots alternative to certified organic for small-scale, direct-market farmers and beekeepers. CNG has members in 47 states, Puerto Rico and Canada. CNG will be offering several webinars between January and March. One will feature Executive Director Alice Varon, who will explain how the CNG certification process works and why it may be right for you. The second will feature Lori Sands, a long-time CNG farmer in Pennsylvania who is co-founder and current President of the North-West PA Growers Cooperative. She will be speaking about the challenges and rewards of getting involved in multi-farm collaborations.
The presentations will include plenty of time to answer questions.
