call to art loving farmers

Salem Art Works is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit art center and sculpture park located in rural Upstate New York on an old dairy farm. Founded in 2005 by artist Anthony Cafritz, Salem Art Works (SAW) is dedicated to supporting both emerging and established artists in the creation of new and progressive work, as well as promoting the understanding and appreciation of contemporary art within the region.
SAW is looking for two young innovative farmers to come and turn it’s 120 acres back into a working a farm. These two individuals will be taking on leadership positions, taking over all farm operations. SAW already has a large organic vegetable garden and is look to improve and expand what i already has available. Large-scale production and livestock are possible. SAW will provide room and board, and access to all onsite facilities (please check website for details) and most importantly land. These selected farmers need be able to work and live in a community setting, have experience in their area of interest, and must make a long-term commitment  (minimum) of one year.
