BIG NEWS: conference discount for beginning farmers

this exciting news comes from Laura Ten Eyck, from the folks at American Farmland Trust.
We have gotten some funding that is allowing us to offer a discounted registration to the Harvesting Opportunities in New York conference, Nov. 15 in Albany, to beginning farmers. The discounted rate is $35(which covers the hard cost of the continental breakfast and lunch). This is a reduction of $50.
We want work with The Greenhorns, NOFA NY and the National Young Farmers Coalition to get the word out to the beginning farmers about this. Tell beginning farmers that want to attend the conference to contact me by e-mail ([email protected]) or phone (518) 581-0078 ext. 300 for registration instructions. They will have the option of paying in advance by giving us a credit/debit card #, mailing in a check, or paying at the door with credit/debit card, check or cash.
