Hi all!
Please come (and bring your farm friends!!!) to the BFN/Mass Fall Forum next Tuesday, November 12th. I am organizing and facilitating this event and it should be really fun and a great opportunity to make really useful connections for our farms. It is free and includes breakfast and lunch! Less than one week left until the free Beginning Farmer Network of Mass Fall Forum on Tuesday, November 12th from 10:00AM to 3:00PM at the Charlton Public Library, Charlton, MA (40 Main St. Charlton, MA- very close to RI).

10:00                Arrival: refreshments and food
Introduction:  including talks by beginning farmer Suzy Konecky of Cricket Creek Farm and Jim Hafner from Land For Good
11:10                Networking round tables:  topics include: Land Access, Farm Loans, Record Keeping, Agriculture and Climate Change.
12:10- 1:10        Lunch- including locally made sandwiches, local cheese, apples, and cider.
12:30                Beginning Farmer Services Teaser (lunch continues): one minute for each service provider to pitch what they offer beginning farmers
1:15                  Action Discussion: topics include: Scaling-up and Avoiding Burnout, Debt and Credit, Women in Agriculture, Farm Knowledge and Skills and more!
2:10                  Wrap up, next steps
3:00                  Goodbye for the day: invitation to stay a few extra minutes and write FSMA comments that we will send in to the FDA.
