300 miles for gmo labeling

OCT 1, NYC is Right2Know March‘s first stop!
A group of concerned citizens, supported by a coalition of food advocacy organizatons and food companies and a series of speakers, will be marching to the White House on World Food Day to demand labeling of gentically modified foods–GMOs.  The march sets off from New York on October 1st.  We’ll rally at Grand Army Plaza, march to the UN, and then across Manhattan to catch a ferry across the river.  Over the next two weeks, we’ll walk across New Jersey, Pensylvania, Delaware, and Maryland–stopping at health food stores along the way–until reaching our destination in Washington, DC.
Marchers will be accompanied by Brooklyn’s own Compass Green Project Mobile Greenhouse, Dr. Bronner’s All-One Ark, and elements of the Sustainable Living Roadshow.
