some farmers for the future action.

A message to all members of Farmers || Future

Hi, everybody. We hope everybody has had a great harvest and are getting ready to enjoy the holiday season. Meantime, there’s been lots of action in your social network for young and beginning farmers.
Our membership continues to expand. We now have more than 3,600 members from all 50 U.S. states and more than 100 countries.  Please consider inviting a friend or family member to join Farmers for the Future. Just click on the “Invite” button on the top bar of your page.
Hot topics. Popular discussions today focus on custom farming ideas, tips on buying a no-till drill, how to pick an ag college, and the sky-high prices for farmland. Join one of these or other hot discussions, or start your own.
Meet a new member: Dave Kraeer, the “farmer-meteorologist,” bought his first tractor last week. The recent college grad, with a degree in broadcast meteorology, has just returned to the farm, the sixth generation to do so on the family place in Pennslyvania. “I’ve always loved farming and I’ve finally decided I’m going to get into it, despite my parents best efforts to get me to do anything else.” Welcome Dave and follow his progress in agriculture.
Winter photos. Members have posted some 12,730 photos on the site. There’s everything under the sun–cool tractors, beautiful farmstead scenes, people hard at work, global ag pics, cute kids, and much more. Please post your own photos and help update the world on what things looks like out on the land this December.
Mobile Update! Just a quick reminder that you can easily visit the site with your mobile device. Check it out the mobile version of Farmers for the Future while you’re on the go during the busy holiday season: http://farmersforthefuture.ning.com/m/ .  Also, if you want to follow the weather, news and markets and interact with farmers of all stripes, check out: m.agriculture.com.
Thanks for your time, and hope to see you online at Farmers for the Future.
