I have just found out that a friend is preparing to open a restaurant in Dorset, VT, a small, rural community located directly between Rutland and Bennington, VT (about 30-45 minutes from both) and about 1.5 hours from Albany, NY. Annexed to the restaurant is a well equipped, independent bakery, ready to be stocked and operated.
This is an opportunity for an experienced baker and/or pastry chef, interested in running their own business, to take on and manage this turnkey operation. It is perfect for someone interested in living, working and developing their business in a small, northeastern rural/agricultural community, comprised predominately of farmers, artists, and well established second-home owners and week-enders.
